How To Post, Change, Remove A Status On Facebook

So, you?have just recently joined Facebook, and need to know how to do the most important part of facebook culture, status updating! It is very simple to do, and once you get the hang of it you will become more and more Facebook savvy. When you’re on your Profile page on facebook, you will see a blank space that has the question “What’s on your mind?”. This is the status bar. To post?a status type in the blank space and click right underneath where it says post.

If you have posted a status and you wanted to change it you would first have to delete the previous one and retype the one you made a mistake on. In order to delete a posted status, place your mouse to the far right of your status post. An invisible drop down box will appear and you can choose the option for delete post. Once you’ve deleted the post, you can go and repost a status the same way you did originally.

** If you want to mention someone or give a shoutout on your status, to someone whom you’re friends with you can use the @ sign to do so. For instance if you wanted to wish someone a happy birthday, you could write on your status: happy birthday @John smith. Whatever your friend is listed under on facebook is what you would @ tag them in on your status.

Good Luck & Enjoy 🙂
