Do you like Pina Coladas? And getting caught in the rain? Ok ok this isn’t the lyrics to a song, this is an actual authentic Pina Colada recipe given to us by our friend from Puerto Rico. While Pina Colada’s may seem hard to make, they are actually quite the opposite. Well, what are we waiting for? Let’s go make some Pina Coladas!
Pineapple Juice, Crushed Ice, Canned Coconut Milk, Canned Creme of Coconut, Cherry flavored Rum, Grenadine
*Goya puts out a really delicious Creme of Coconut (blue can) and Coconut Milk – you can find these in your international aisle of your supermarket
In a blender, put?1.5 cups of pineapple juice, 2 cups of icecubes (they will crush in the blender) 1/2 a can of creme of coconut, and 1/4 cup of coconut milk. Blend. Next add the 1/2 cup of cherry?flavored?rum, and blend?until you have a frothy consistency. When you pour into a glass, top with a shot of grenadine.
There are many recipes out there for how to make a Pina Colada, but this is the proper Pina Colada recipe. There are also flavored Pina Colada recipes too but again this tip is to show you how to make a regular authentic Pina Colada recipe.
Good Luck & Enjoy 🙂
